ABOUT WGCR Radio ....
BACKGROUND: The forming of WGCR (Gulf Coast Region) Radio actually began in 2007. A friend of mine, whom I have known for over 20 years, has an internet radio station, out of West Palm Beach. This friend and I had both worked together in New Jersey.
When I relocated to Florida in 2003, I was aware this friend was living here in Florida as well, but as time gets away from us, it wasn't until four years later that I attempted to track him down and locate where he was.
When I did find him, I called him, and we talked as if years had not passed, catching up on our lives.
It was then that I learned about internet radio/TV stations.
Immediately, I loved the concept and knew this was something that I wanted to be a part of and would thoroughly enjoy. I thank him for introducing me to the world of internet media.
WGCR Radio was formed on June 27, 2009.
